Well, I like #2 personally. But it would really depend on what else you've picked out. Do you think they would all match equally well and it's just a matter of picking your favorite?

All are very nice. I think I like #1 the best. My second pick would be #5

#5 Looks like a more classic design, and would fit in most decors.

None of them are really my taste, but if I had to choose one, it would either be #2 or #3.

I put a small vanity in the bathroom here in michigan and have it hated ever since. The bowl is too small to be functional. Water splashes everywhere if anyone tries to do more than rinse their hands. If I were to do it over again I would get a much larger bowl on a pedestal base like the one we have now in the UK house.

personally speaking (of course) ... i think that you have too many choices. it is always a good idea to narrow it down to 2 (3 maximum).
in this case ... some possible questions: do i really want a black top or a white top? do i want drawers or doors that open? what comfortably falls into my price range?
final answer?? my choice would be vanity #1!

Geez....style-wise they are all so different so it depends on the rest of the decor...I'm seeing arts and crafts style...colonial....neo-classic
What's the tub or shower comcept?
My personal fave though is #1. If you are taking the tone of the entire bath from the vanity, then I vote for this one. Just make sure your medicine chest, johnnie closet, faucet, and lite fixtures go with it.

laura ... just my opinion here but ....... that medicine cabinet is WAY too modern looking for the vanity. i just think if you are going to put the money into redecorating a bathroom, the vanity and mirror really are the focal points and should compliment each other!!
can't wait to see the final pics!!!

Oh glad you posted that Laura....
The tiled shower is awesome. Go with that.
If you are picking #1, your medicine chest and light fixtures need to follow that style. The choices you put up are too modernistic. Your new vanity has more flair - its a bit regency, a bit tuscan. I'd do burnished hardward - NO CHROME. Look at the fixtures on the sink - that's a nickel plated faucet. And tone down the medicine chest - whew - i thought I saw Elvis looking back at me - meaning wrong era for the vanity style!!! LOL - a little less mirror and bit more wood or metal would do the trick.......
yep - i know its not QUITE right, but it will mold & mesh together when i finally get down to the purchasing of the items. there are definately things I am going to overhaul, but its a work in progress!
my 1st choice in a mirror was a round style to offset the *squareness* of the tile & apothecary set, however its just not quite right. once i see it, i will know. Also, the faucet is not included, although the brushed metal look is appropriate for the piece. the light set certainly won't be in chrome, i was thinking more of the turned down style of the fixture.
lol the ONE thing hubby is requesting is that i NOT make it look like *dead people's furniture* - ya know, antiques! loove many types of antiques so he's gonna have to bend a little.
Thanks for your suggestions! noted! its a work in progress!

thanks Becca! all drywall IS up, primering the walls now. the vanity & mirror have yet to move from my foyer to the bathroom, but should soon. baseboards have to be completed and the travertine shelves will be put up once painting is complete. Doors, trim, etc. will be a bright white as will be the linens. i think maybe with a little bit of olive accents.
i almost died when the contractor thought the tiles where DIRTY.. i said - thats how they are supposed to look. LOL
