Hello everybody,
My husband is preparing the affidavit of support (I-134) and we have "a doubt" for question #11 huh.gif

it says :
11. That I intend --- do not intend --- to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.
(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in United States dollars and state whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, or for how long.)

The sample answer published in this website says : N/A ( K1 visa process for permanent residence )

We are filling for K-3 visa what should we answer?? help helpsmilie.gif
thanks in advance for every answer & suggestion

Najia,

Alternatively, answer something like 'Yes, will provide food, housing, clothing, and cover all other expenses'.

Najia,

Double check that you are filing the correct form for affidavit of support. If you are already married you may need to file one of the I864 forms, rather than the I134. VJ probably explains this, or check on the US immigration site.

Bill,

Najia states that her husband will apply for a K3 visa, for which the I-134 is the appropriate affidavit of support.

It will be interesting to see, however, if the I-130 petition gets approved first - and if it does how much sooner than the I-129f. You may be correct that they may not need an I-134.
