We got our interim EAD today in Dallas, and it is good for 7 months, is this the regular EAD??? or the interim one? I am asking because it's good for 7 months and I have read here people getting interims for 30 days to 3 months..it's great that we got such a long time, regardless...in case the AOS keeps moving like molasses.

Did your husband get one when he came into the US before you got married with the K-1? That one was good for 90 days only.
My husband applied for his and got his about a month ago, but his is good for 1 year, once he gets the green card the Green Card will be the work permit.
I would think they would be processed all in Missouri and be all good for 1 year, prior to getting the green card.
We haven't heard anything yet either, we had our interview about 3 weeks ago.
Good Luck,

That's weird that everyone has a different time limit?
Does anyone know the answer to this?

240 days is the limit on the interim EAD, which is about 8 months. Whether interim or not, EADs are all the "same" and give you same rights -- employment, driver's licence, ability to change SSN card to married name, etc.

My interim EAD was good for 8 months. I got the 1-year EAD in the mail approximately 3 weeks after and that was good for 1 year.

I guess Anton skipped the Interim EAD since he went right to one year.
Looking for that Green Card.

Mine was initially valid for 1 year, but when they sent it to me it had only 10 months left.
