Further to what the other responders have written, the photo and fingerprint taken for the I-765 are for the purpose of making the EAD - they will be displayed on the card. It really isn't biometrics, certainly not in the sense of the high-tech photo and finger prints for adjustment of status that are digitized, stored electronically, and used for FBI background checking.
The AOS biometrics and the EAD 'biometrics' are two quite different things, even when both are done at the same time.
