I just wanted to vent my frustration at not having my EAD yet. I am reaching the 90 day mark. I started applying for jobs after my biometrics were taken and now I have to keep telling prospective employers that I am waiting on my card. UGH...we are running out of money and I need to start working now. It's so annoying that it takes so FREAKIN' long.
I know many of you guys will sympathise with me!

Have you made an
infopass appointment yet? If you're past the 90 day mark, you should be able to get an interm EAD until the 1 year one arrives

I feel your pain!
Go ahead and make your infopass appointment. Remember that you can count 90 days from the "received" date on your NOA1 as opposed to the "notice" date.

Filling in a timeline will help others to guage your wait as well. So, please fill yours in. I am coming up to my 90 days as well and I am just as frustrated as I have an employer holding a position for me.

I also feel your pain. It took me months and months before i even had a bio met exam. Now that I finally have my EAD card though I am now waiting on stupid Social Security. They have not updated me within the system yet since my bio met exam. So now that I have my card, it does me no good till i know I can recieve a ssn!!! Sometimes I feel like this whole thing is bogus.

Do you have to wait till the 90 days are up before you can apply for an INFOPASS appointment or can I schedule an appointment now for when my 90 days are up? This whole procedure sucks and is really starting to get to me. I will fill out my timeline shortly.

No, you don't need to wait. Make it now to reserve your space. You can always cancel if you get your EAD before then.

We waited 6 months and when we got the card the effective date was 3 months prior to when we got the card. It was dated over 2 months before we even got biometrics. If it was me and an employer would hire me I would start work without the card. You will soon have proof that you were authorized to work the whole time.

Well I can totally sympathize, we are going on 109 days no EAD, and were turned down at the Dallas district office when we went on the 91st day...talk about frustrating! Go ahead and make your 91st day appointment now, that way at least you will have it ASAP if it doesnt come.

Yes, we're in the same boat. At least you can get the interim EAD so hurry and make the infopass appointment. I would also call up the USCIS to remind them.
We've passed 150 days and got an interim EAD for only 30 days. Ridiculous!!!!!
Good luck and I am sure all will work out for the best.
LaGreenEyes, that is riduculous what the Dallas office did. Can you complain?

Can you fill out your timeline, so we can see just what your process has been like?
