Hello guys/gals,

My mom just made me nervous. She told me that she thinks my husband should take a copy of the affidavit to the interview. I don't think its necessary because I already paid NVC $70 to review it and I expect it to be at the Embassy. However-"mothers know best"...but in this case what do u suggest?
The problem is I didn't make a copy of my set, so I'd have to do it over, sad.gif but my cosponsor has a copy of her set.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

i think ur mom is correct. ur hubby should take a copy with him to the embassy. that would be "insurance" just in case. u never know what to expect at those embassies unsure.gif
Just my 2 cents worth!

Oh Ok, but I'd have to do my part over and get it notarized again because I didn't make a copy of it sad.gif

Hi Vee,

Listen to your mum-she's right yes.gif ( I always tell my wee one that!)

Bring a copy of all phases (USCIS to NVC completion) of the paperwork...if they lost something, you have a back up plan. Make 2 copies...send one to him, and keep another set for yourself-just in case they get lost in transit, or held in customs for some reason.

Look at things from a pessimistic view and account for anything that may go wrong. Then, do what you can to prevent it while being prepared that anything can happen...but, you'll be ready for it if you cover yourself.

Here's the list:

USCIS

G-325a (yours & his)
I-130
NOA1
NOA2

NVC

DS-2032
I-864
I-864 (co-sponsor)
I-864A
DS-203 Part I

And supporting evidence of wedding, relationship, etc.

Good Luck Girl !
