Good morning all,

For those whose POE was JFK did you get the temporary EAD stamp or is that only for K-1er's?

I thought that both K-3 and K-1 visa could get a temporary EAD stamp at JFK.

Or a nicer way to say it would be.....JFK only gives temporary EAD stamps to K-1 visa holders, K-3 visa holders must apply for one. Also JFK is only suppose to issue EAD stamps to NY state residents, however that policy is often not practiced.

So K-3 visa holders never get the temporary EAD at ports of entry???

No, unfortunately they don't. You will have to apply for the EAD after your arrival in the US.
