It's been over 2 weeks since they claim to have sent the I-130 to NVC. Should I panic just yet?

The same thing happened to me with my I-129F petition - NOA2 on May 4, I CALLED May 22, they told me they had just received the petition. I called again yesterday and they told me it was sent to my consulate May 23.

I would call just to get an update and for peace of mind. I don't know why they didn't update but atleast I know where it it. smile.gif

Good Luck!

BTW the NVC has a phone # listed on their site and I had better luck calling in the early evening.

There is no reason to panic. Just keep calling them once a day.

Thanks to you both! I suppose sometimes I feel like I spend the majority of my time punching numbers into a telephone matrix which makes me antsy.

As my hubby says, "Patience, Darling....."

I think it's an English concept....lol! smile.gif

don't panic! 2 weeks isn't bad really. Like they all said, keep calling everyday and one of these days they'll tell you they sent it to the Consulate!

Hi

I did called them twice a day. It took 20 days to get to NVC and 11 days to send to Consulate.
