We filed the I129F after approval of our I130, why does my USCIS receipt number for the I129F begin with MSC instead of EAC
Thank you
aussiewench
Because I-129F for spouse is processed at NBC (National Benefits Center) which used to be the MSC - Missouri Service Center

Thank you for your reply
so this means it will be processed at Missouri instead of Vermont service center?
simple_male
Because MSC = Missouri Service Center. Perhaps, NBC = National Benefits Center would make more sense. But as of now, all K-3 receipt numbers start with MSC.

Anyway, is your I-129F approved already? My I-129F deadline is not far off from yours.

How did you get your "view my timeline here" put on your page?
I have tried and tried to add my timeline on my cover page and cannot. UGH
Someone recommended using the signature but several times trying it keeps saying error too big!
Thanks

I hope, your I-129F will be approved soon. Right now, NBC is processing the receipt dates of March 5. So you are very close. Yes, all K-3 is processed by NBC (National Benefit Centers) in Missouri. They used to be known as Missouri Service Center, I think.

My k-3 receipt starts with "WAC". Does that matter? unsure.gif

TPC,

You are talking about your I-129f petition? Or your I-130 petition?

A 'WAC' Receipt Number means that it's at the CSC.

Write up your timeline in your profile. Then copy the address in the address bar. Go to 'edit signature' in the control panel. In the signature box type in 'View my Timeline' then use the URL tags to paste in the address to your profile page. When the second box pops up, instead of pasting in the profile addy you type in 'HERE'. The word 'HERE' is then linked to the profile page.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any probs.

I ignorantly sent it to the office in Texas where I sent my I-130 sad.gif . I was trying so hard to follow all of the instructions and after I sent the package off, I realized that I should've sent it to Chicago. They sent me a receipt saying that they had forwarded it to Chicago. Will that make a difference in my husband's visa approval? My receipt for my I-129f does begin with the letters "WAC".

If they have forwarded it then you are fine. Just was curious as to the reason for the WAC.

TPC,

The TSC has been sending some I-129f for fiancees to the CSC for processing. Where did the notice that your I-129f was sent to Chicago come from?

If you're lucky, what's happened is that the TSC sent your I-129f to the CSC along with a batch of I-129fs for fiancee, then the CSC recognized what it was after entering the submission into 'The System' and passed it on to the NVC where it belongs.
