Which documents, if any, need to be translated for the interview? I didn't think any of them needed to be until I read something now. Its not a worry as we have plenty of time, she didnt get packet 3 yet, but its good to get things gathered soon as possible.

I was also wondering what documents are required for supporting the affidavit? I have last pay stubs, letter from employer, and my bank statement. I have more than enough income to cover this. But I dont know if any tax statements are required for HCMC?

The birth certificate and police reports need to be translated for the interview.

For your affidavit of support you will need a letter from your bank showing the date you opened your account, the balance and the average balance (if they will do it), a letter from your employer, and your last year's 1040 tax forms.

Below is also an excerpt from an email reply I received from VJ member Landy regarding the translation process at Notary Public Office No.1.

I got 3 translated copies for each document.

You just need to bring the original copy of the documents you want to translate to the Notary Office. Make some copies of them. Suppose you want to have 3 translated copies, you need to give them 4 copies. They will keep 1 copy for evidence, the other 3 copies they will attach them to the translated copies with notarized stamps.
