I cleaned my home today and am watching a rain shower. Now I don't have to water the flowers on the balcony. Talked with Mohammed on the phone for awhile and that was a lovely refreshing break. Hope everyone is having a lovely day.

Just drug my butt out of bed and it's after noon! I'm thinking abou taking my son to a movie this afternoon. Other than than, not much else is planned.

I am helping my daughter strip the paint off a dresser. My son-in-law is going to stain it to go in the new babies room. Thought I would check VJ while the stripper does it work. Hope every one is having a good Memorial Day Weekend.

wow im off somewhere in space...lol... I was supposed to go to Algiers today to go see yacine's sister but yacine kept me up all night poking me and tickling and all other kinds of funky stuff that just irritated me... so I didnt fall asleep until 3 am and then bam at 3:30 here comes the blazing call to prayer that woke me up. So I missed my ride to algiers. but when yacine's dad came home we borrowed his car... me and yacine and his little brother nabil went to Ain Taya to go see the neighbors that used to live in our building (me and yacine are downstairs and his parents are on the 3rd floor).. because I brought the youngest daughter a gift from the states.. then we did a little bit of fruit and vegetable shopping.. we went to the beach too in a place in wilaya boumerdes... it was so cute his little brother is my favorite he helped me down the sand there was a lot of broken glass.. then we came home and i peeled potatoes and made mashed potatoes with garlic, shreadded carrots and cucumbers and boiled eggs for a cold salad... made some lamb and a tiny bit of spaghetti and yacine's neighbors gave us this very wonderful tasting thick flat bread to eat.. then yacine's aunt and uncle called, they live about 2 hours away from here, his aunt is pregnant and his uncle is going to come and pick us up some time this week and we're going to stay a few days at his aunts house... they live in the mountains it's really nice and thank goodness he is giving us a ride because the bus isn't the most fun thing to take... hope everyone is doing well and i'll come back to report soon
