I have flown on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and I agree.....they were awesome days to travel. The airports are practically empty. The planes are decently filled. And, EVERYONE I enountered were nice and friendly.

One stewardess on a Delta plane wore this crazy Turkey hat on thanksgiving and gave us a Thanksgiving joke every half hour. The whole plane was in stitches.

Hey JG -- I flew Thanksgiving day to Jamaica last year and it was really nice.

I flew Christmas night arriving next day to Jamaica 2 years ago. The ticket was astronomical, but partly cause I waited so long to get it. The airports were empty though, and I remember sleeping in Houston while waiting for my early morning connection and almost missed my flight into JA.

I got my best deals on the holidays, Marlita. The day I flew on Thanksgiving, I got the ticket for $99 roundtrip. It was like some fluke thing.
