I just filed the application and it was received on Tuesday Sept. 2! I hope that everything goes well and we can get the fiancee visa in time....have wedding plans (tentative of course!) for the end of May.

I have a question. When I check on the processing times for 129F at the USCIS site it reads Jan 2, 2008. However, when I look on the charts on this site it says "processing March 2008". Am I reading something wrong?

about the processing time i know it drives me crazy .some people who filed for the visa in march got their NOA2 and some of them got their interview dates ?!!!!!!!!!!

Well from what I understand the NOA1 takes 10 days on average...so hopefully we'll get it sometime next week!

It means they are still working on the I-129F of Jan 2 2008 .
but in fact it could be a few cases cause there are so many people who filed for the visa in march or April and they got interview dates ...

The quote I posted before is what it had on the website when I registered my case with the USCIS case status online. I didn't see anything about touched though. Anybody know where you can see that- it just said case pending.

Hi September 08 filers! We originally filed towards end of July but after not hearing or receiving our noa1, for so long we decided to call the USCIS...to make a long story short there was an issue with the check (banks fault! and they had resent our paperwork back to our lawyer today so we reissued another check to be sent back to the lawyer ---to then forward it on. all the double handling! So, I guess this makes me a September filer also!
Congrats to all who have received their NOA1's!! In the meantime...im just going to keep myself super busy and try not to think too hard about it like I did the last time it was filed!

Well, it looks like the VSC has finally started to process petitions sent to them in September. Promising developments for everybody...
It just that I so hate this waiting game....

I think VSC is more good and quicker than CSC.
no one likes the waiting game but we don't have another choice so we ill play it with them and hopefully we will win
