I believe it is fine to do that way as long as you have the baecode and signature on it. I would make many copies and sign them all in case something gets screwed up like it always does any were.

Loy...check the Wiki for "James' Shorcuts".
You can email the DS-3032...save time and money.
You'll need to put your NVC number, YourName Date of Birth, Hubbie's Name Date of Birth
in the subject line,
and then make a statement saying that you appoint your husband as agent...blah blah blah.

Everything you need for the format is in James' Shorcuts.

good luck.

If you are sending this thru regular mail, it's okay to fax or scan the form by beneficiary to send it to petitioner. When petitioner receives AOS Bill, NVC also sends petitioner copy of Barcoded DS3032. Instructions for DS3032 specifically mentions that if beneficiary in foreign country do not receive DS3032 from NVC (for whatever reasons), it's OK for petitioner to scan, fax or email the copy of the form to beneficiary. However, Beneficiary can NOT scan the signed form back to petitioner to send it to NVC. Beneficiary either needs to send signed copy to NVC your self or send that signed copy over to Petitioner so that he/she can send it to NVC. Once you sign the DS3032 then you can NOT fax or scan that back to petitoner; otherwise, it wouldn't remain an "original" signed form.

Hope it helps,

Absolutely correct....that's why it's easier (more efficient) to e-mail the DS3032.
No scanning, faxing, or signatures required...just use the proper format specified in "James' Shortcuts".

thank u samurai, thats gives me more clarification. I email my DS3032 last Sept 1. So, which is quicker for NVC to respond, my EMAIL? or the hardcopy of my DS30302 that im going to send it on Sept 5, I heard it takes week/s before the NVC respond to email. I havent receive any response from my 1st email yet. so do u suggest that im going to mail a hardcopy of my DS 3032?
