Where has the time gone. Thanks to Gustav the last week passed very fast and it's a little over a full day left for the interview (yikes....nervous!). To anyone else having one this week all the best and enjoy your future with your loved one.

Good luck and keep us informed as to how your interview went. Looking at your timeline i was wondering if you had to send an expidite request to both the USCIS and NVC or did they use only the first one you sent to USCIS?

We sent an expedite request to USCIS and Senators office. Then for NVC we sent another expedite request to Senators office and they forwarded to NVC and Embassy. I would highly recommend anyone looking for help to get in touch with your Senator. Doing that proved invaluable in our case.

Good Luck!! I wonder how much, if any sleep you'll be getting tonight...I imagine when our interview date comes I'll be all jacked up on caffiene from a sleepless night before...

I'm so sorry for what happened to you but the "she" in this thread is me.
My husband is deployed and I'm the one having the interview tomorrow and while I'll be sad to leave everything I've always known behind, I love my hubby and I want to be with him more.
I hope you meet someone else that will make you very happy and who isn't affraid to leave their home country.

You are right....a bit anxious but I think I will sleep well. The interview is not first thing in the morning so I think even if I don't rest too well tonight I'll still have time to gather my thoughts and double check papers in the morning. I can't believe the time is almost here. The only thing that's more exciting to me right now is looking forward to hubbys homecoming

All the agencies have slightly different expedite criteria but once you can get one at USCIS the likelyhood of them expediting it all the way through is higher. You can check the USCIS website for the criteria or better yet call them so they can give you all the info you need and tell you how to send in your request. If you can get your Senators office to help that would be even better.
We got expedited based on military deployment
