Okay maybe i need to stop whinning.

When I first send my I-130 package, i sent alot of documents that they did not need.

1. Pictures of ceremony/evidence.
2. 2 photos of a passport
3. Copy of wifes passport
4. I-864 (also joint sponsor I-864)
5. Tax returns of last three years..
6. Employment letters

so much sh1it I sent to Vermont service center..

i'm wondering where all that stuff has gone?

Now since my I-130 has been approved, do they return any of that stuff or will everything be shipped to NVC?
Phillip2
it is my understanding that allthat crap goes to NVC and you can get it back after the interview if you ask for it.
Shpat_Argjira
Phillip, but when they start working on my case at NVC they're going to ask for everything all over again right?
LuLu
Most likely they will....you have to send to the NVC what they ask for specifically with the required barcodes. Do a search for james shortcuts or Lotofpatience for the guide on how to make it through the NVC.

Get hold of a live rep and talk to him/her about your situation, find out whether all this documents you sent to VSC get forwarded to NVC or not, ask whether you have to send the documents again.

Supposed VSC forwarded all your documents to NVC, you may not have to send some of them again.

As far as I know, it's the same physical file that get forwarded from USCIS to NVC and then to the consulate, and then in the brown envelope back to USCIS.

calm down Shpat, go with the flow. from what i understand, theyll give back your documents after the interview. might as well call NVC and ask them about it so as to avoid confusion. and dont forget, always look at the brighter side, at least youre in NVC now! soon youll be with your loved one, good luck!

Chill and take one step at a time.

First off, did you get your NVC case number yet? You should get it by now, so call the representative tomorrow and get it. Once you get it email your DS-3032 and make yourself as an agent. Do these two steps for now.

Oh and for your wife's part, just ask her to apply for her PCC right away.

I don't recall ever hearing anyone say they get anything back at the end.

Every one with CR-1/IR-1 visa do get back original/certified copies documents submitted at NVC. Things like Birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce decree.

I agree...definately have your wife get her PCC right away...my wife is in Peru and is required to get 3 different certificates from 3 different offices which all then have to be stamped and translated as well as her birth certificate that has to be translated too...I even told her to get another marriage certificate and have that stamped and translated just in case the one I sent with the I-130 gets lost in the shuffle...getting tax transcripts are no big deal...I'm feeling the stress of this too so I can relate...

Relax buddy (or gal...if you are a female). I know I have gone thru this phase when I filed...(and who knows maybe I will have one or more of this episode in future, but I know I can always vent here). All you need is little support and encouragement from us all. That's why VJ exists. I suggest you start focusing on next steps instead of worrying about everything else. I would look at following website on VJ: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/..._live_in_the_US

It gives you lot of useful information, templates, etc. Also don't forget to read official NVC website regarding Choice of Agent, Affidavit of Support and supporting documents, DS230 Visa application and supporting documents.

Finally to answer your question....
YES, USCIS will send all of this sh1t to NVC. However, at least items 3,4,5, and 6 from your list will need to be resent to NVC at its appropriate time in procedure again. Remember, we can only send lot of the items you listed (Tax returns, employment letters, etc.) to NVC when they ask for it. I don't think tax returns and employment letters were required by USCIS when you filed I-130. USCIS will send whatever they have to NVC but NVC will likely ask for these items again in its due course of procedures.

Lastly, Congratulations on getting out of Vermont....

Dude ...you need to learn how to relax....first of all why did you send all those docs to VSC ...donot send docs that they do not need ...it makes them confused blink.gif wacko.gif unsure.gif innocent.gif so processing may be delayed

from now send what is required at each stage READ , READ ...LOTTO'S GUIDE thoroughly yes.gif yes.gif
Nita&Assaad
relax and follow Loto's guide it's all there.... Also have your wife get her paperwork together to send to you so when NVC generates it you can have it ready for NVC. my hubby waited and we were delayed like 1 month. And unfortunately yes you will have to do everything all over again! Sorry

Good Luck good.gif
