Thanks everyone I am so excited and here is his schedule. He is in flight now and will arrive in the USA tomorrow night in Atlanta. Then from Atlanta to Alabama around 9 pm. The kids and I are so happy and put window paint on the car, made some posters, and have to get some little things finalized for tomorrow night.

Well I did not sleep much last night. The kids did not want to go to bed and the oldest even got up without a hassle one hour early today. LOL I have some errands and last minute things. I will go later this am and have lots to do yet.

Will post an update later. He is somewhere over the ocean and headed to Altanta, GA now. I pray his POE is easy since I have only found like three experiences and a few have said to try and change it. Too late now.

Just for anyone interested my husband landed at Atlanta Georgia this afternoon and I have not talked to him yet. Immigrations personally called me and interviewed me with questions about our meeting, when we met, how long was I in Pakistan, when did we marry and exact date that I personally filed for his petition? This is heads up to anyone that may get a call. I am heading to the airport in one and half hours and hope he is there. Wish us good luck. And when I got my call the caller ID was blocked to show private number and the gentleman was very rude. He never answered my question when I asked if all is okay? Wish me good luck!

He is sleeping now so I can update. I had the phone interrogation via the POE and he was held for two hours of intense questions. They said he married me for greencard, he was going back and not allowed into USA, they wanted every detail of how we met, the chat room, dates, when I applied for him, his residence here, and alot more questions. He was so scared and they almost held him too late to get his flight from Atlanta to Birmingham. Delta has lost his luggage and now it is found and should be here sometime before midnight now. It has been such a horrible experience.

We know they need to ask questions but they were obnoxious and rude to both of us. I am so glad that he is finally home and we are relieved that the past is behind us now. I am sorry but it has been world wind here. No luggage, kids graduations this am, and on phone trying to find luggage and now I am here to update.

What a rotten welcome to America

My guess is the "lost luggage" is actually being gone over with a fine-toothed comb, and will re-surface once they get tired of poking through his shaving cream and toothbrush.

Thank God he's home safe now. Insha'allah that was the worst experience he will ever have to face in the U.S., and everything will be much better from here on.

Oh Mary. I am so so sorry to hear they did this to the two of you after all this. I cannot believe after all the screenings and judgements that are placed during the visa process that these apes at POE can pull this. Is this a usual occurence? Do they seriously interrogate AGAIN at POE???

Well, outrage aside, I am so so happy to hear you have your darling in your arms. After a day or two you will both forget all these unpleasantries and settle into your life together. You are both in my prayers always.

That is crazy ?!? What if the POE calls your house and your not home because you are at the airport picking him up ? Cuz Ali's POE will be LAX where I will be picking him up. Inshallah nothing will go wrong though.

Wow, I'm really glad Tamer didn't encounter that. He got a little bit of sh*t from them regarding a temp EAD, but if he had experienced that, he would have turned right around and gone home.
