You might be able to get a waiver on the SSN if your state normally requires it for the marriage license.
Make sure he knows your address. That will go on the I-94, and they may ask also.
2 weeks? I need the SSN for the Marriage License! We need to get married on Monday August 11 or else we can't be together until he gets his SSN!

This had better not be the only way to get a marriage license!
Our state asked for the SSN, but we had it, so we didn't ask if it was mandatory. At least some states do waive the requirement. Some non-residents marry in the U.S. without immigrating, and they won't have a SSN. Best to call and ask on Monday.
