what does this mean "further processing"???

this is the email i just recieved from ym representative...

According to the California Service Center, the file has been sent for "further processing". They said we could check again in 90 days. They are performing an in depth review of the petition, and could not give us a time-frame.
I wish I could give you a better response, but we cannot influence any decision made by the Agency. We will continue to check on the case for you.

I really have no idea... I just know that this 90 days ... then more 90 days.. then another 90 days is really sucking big time !!!

I have seen other posts similar to yours. I am not sure if anyone has found out yet what it means for sure!

FP another name for AR?
Hard to say as you've recieved no 221g....or maybe FP is code for 'we missed something and have to go back'?
Is there anyway your representative (lawyer?) can get more info on what it actually means? If its a lawyer then you're paying him/her for this kind of little extra help surely...
