I'm not an expert in DMV so correct me if I'm wrong! I saw a few people asking about how to obtain a driver's license. If you recently arrived in the US, even if you haven't yet received your EAD and SSN, you should still be able to obtain a license: consult your State "DMV" web-site to see what documents are accepted. My understanding is that people who hold valid visas (not tourist) such as K-3 can qualify for one.
