Hi
I am 15 years old, I was sponsored along with my mum and she just received I-797 NoA saying that she has to appear for the biometrics..
So I have 2 questions about that.
1. Do I have to go there too?

2, Date is 12th August. My mom is pregnant and her due date is 17th.. Is there a way to tell them that? Cause if we request for reschedule they may as well make that date on 17th :/

2) Biometrics is NOT a medical exam, IT is just a picture, finger prints, and signature, for green-card. Pregnancy is not a factor.

If you are worried about the appointment being too close to the due date, you may be able to do a walk-in before the scheduled date. Other people on this board have basically taken their appointment letters and gone to the Application Service Center a few days/weeks before the scheduled appointment. Good luck!

Shouldn't I receive the letter as well then?

@2. Pregnancy is a factor 'cos she may not even be able to get there (we're 2 hours away from Philadelphia.
