I filed for EAD based on adjustment of status in April 28, 2008. The NOA date is May 2, 2008. I haven't received any updates about my case since I filed it. I called USCIS this morning and the customer service said that I can request for interim EAD after it pass 90-day mark (after I filed I-765). I was planning to request for interim EAD next week after I pass the 90-day mark on August 2, 2008. Does anybody have any experience with EAD? She also told me that I can request for interim EAD over the phone instead of going to local USCIS office. Has anybody done that? Does USCIS usually approve the interim EAD (based on my situation)? How long does it take to receive interim EAD after it's requested?
