I noticed USCIS requires biometrics for AP now. Do people filing for AP along with the AOS have to pay an additional $80 [total $1090] for the biometrics for the AP? Instructions aren't that clear to me.

Also do you have to do separate biometrics appointments for the EAD, AP and AOS or are they all combined?

blink.gif wow.....looks like another 'additional' fee now for the I-131 (document is dated to 2009) I wonder if this will effect any that have already filed our AOS ?? OMB No. 1615-0013; Expires 02/28/09

As for right now the AOS costs 1010 Dollars which includes the AP and EAD.
The biometrics are taken all in one day for the EAD as well as the AP

My fiance just went for her biometrics and the appointment letter stated that it was for the I-485 and I-765. There was no mention of the I-131. I asked about it and was told that she should receive another biometrics notice letter and have to come in again. Unbelieveable. I was told some people receive one letter for biometrics, others receive two. has this happened to anyone else here? It seems so redundant, they already have her fingerprints and photo, yet we will have to go back to have it done again. I guess that's the efficiency of USCIS.

As I read the I-131 instructions, it seems like you only need biometrics if you are filing for a re-entry permit or refugee travel document. Nothing is mentioned about it for advance parole. What is your take on this?

I had biometrics just for AOS and EAD, and I sent I-131 also. When I filled the form in the office I cicrcled I-131 along with these two, but they crossed it. I thought that was normal? blink.gif Anyone else?

I also sent my AOS, EAD, AP forms together, and the biometrics appointment letter stated just I-485 + I-765.
After biometrics taken, the I-485 and I-765 could be checked on-line. But the I-131 not.
