Is anybody knows what it could possibly be? My check was cashed 3 days ago. I was able to obtain WAC number from the back of it. When I entered the number into uscis site (I have account)-it says something that the case could not be found, not in a system.
Yes, I entered a correct number, 13 characters total, WAC and 10 digits. I even called and their automated system also could not find the case
Is it correct assumption that if check cashed and number is assigned -it's suppose to appear online immediately?
Can it be that they rejected it by some reason and sent it back, and that is why it's not in a system?

The 13 numbers you see starting with WAC will not be the number used in USCIS to check your status. It will actually be another set of 3 numbers ending a few numbers apart ( last digit will be differnet). The case will not be entered into the system until about two weeks give or take or when you recieve your NOA letter in the mail. I received my NOA and had 3 sets of numbers, one for AOS, one for AP and one for EAD and none of them were in the system until about 1 week after I got my NOA letter.

I agree. it is just too soon. Stay calm, and check it daily. Before you know it your status will be updated on the system?
