Full Version: misunderstood I-864 and DS-230

Hi everone!

My husband overlooked the I-864, he considered our child who is a US citizen as a immigrant. how can we correct the form. we already submitted the form last june.

and do i need to file a ds-230 form for my child who is a us citizen, us passport was issued to my child already.

If you fill up the timeline, people can tell what stage you are at and advise you accordingly.

No, you don't need to do anything for a child who is a US citizen, he doesn't need a visa to enter US, he has a US passport, that's all he needs.
