Hi all, something strange: not long after my NOA2 (woo!), I contacted the NVC away to see if they have received the I-129F info. They had received it 1 July and sent it out to the embassy Jul 3 (fast! ). However, I received a notifcation dated July 4th saying that they had received an apprived I-129F and they would pass it along to the embassy within a week. I said to myself "Ok, maybe they're a bit slow in sending out notices" and I brush it off. However, I have received a second identical notice, except now dated 9 July '08 . I hope this doesn't mean they've made a mistake. Has anyone else shared this experience?

I have no clue why you got two. Perhaps a call to them would help put your mind at ease.

In any case...congratulations!

The USCIS is just beyond whacked some times and they send several NOA2s after approval. We received two Welcome to America letters and don't even know why.
