Just wondering if there are any new interviews assigned during these current days. Me....no interview yet. Over 2 months and waiting.....patiently waiting .

Your one very patient person, I would have run out of patience after waiting a month without an interview schedule. That means I'll run out of patience after 3 weeks! I already called twice, this afternoon being the latest, after our case got completed on July 2nd. I'd really like them to forward our application to Manila before my wife's K3 interview so that we can change to CR1.

Also, once your case is forwarded, AVR will change to: "Your case has been forwarded to the Embassy/Consulate at xxx on xxx..." If you hear that, you can email/phone to your consulate or check their website to see your interview date...

How can you check their website to find out your interview date? I haven't seen that ability on the Amman, Jordan embassy website...Pls let me know.

I dont think most embassy websites have that option. I know the Chennai embassy has that. They seem to be very organized at that embassy from what I read.
Kingston, Jamaica emabssy is really backed up and from what I read not the most efficient in how they handle their processing, so i guess thats how they have backload and it takes FOREVER to get a interview date.

so does NVC or the embassy give out the interview date? i seem to get different anwsers to this lol

NVC gives out the dates and some embassy posts the appointment schedule for the month where you can find your case scheduled as well

hello im a K1 visa...its been 45 days since we got approved..but still no luck from nvc yet.....

not sure where our application now...worried sad.....confuse...i call nvc today, they said its not yet on their system.....whewww....crazy..

Its kinda confusing. NVC gives out the dates, but not until the Embassy tells them to. Essentially NVC is the secretary or receptionist to the embassy. I was told by NVC rep that they are given a certain number of dates per month to use to schedule with and depending on how busy the embassy is depends on how many dates they give. So it could be 50, 100, 200 per month or less or more.....just depends. I feel like the Kingston embassy doesnt release dates to NVC in a fair manner, because people who are K3 or K1 who came to the NVC AFTER me are getting dates because their case went straight to embassy. My case and many other Jamaica filers cases have been complete and people who got to Embassy AFTER our complete date are with interview or one step away from one. Its so unfair. We are going into our 10th month of waiting now.

hi im from Philippines? may i ask how you know that we are in the 90 days window?, i never see any case that waited 90 days, in Philippines, and a k1 visa...its weird....

Case completed on June 30. and just got the interview date on July 10.

OH man! That is so fast! congratulations!! I am still waiting. Over 2 months here and I have called everyone I can call, and exhausted all possibilities. They just say that the embassy in Kingston takes awhile to schedule interviews or I need to wait for a visa number or blah blah blah. I know people waiting since March for this stupid embassy to give CR/IR visas a date, so at this rate who knows how long I have to wait.

Well it looks like I'm we're with you guys waiting too. It's strange how some get their interview dates so quickly and others end up waiting so long. I hope we're one of the lucky ones.
