WE LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY SO YOU KNOW I HAD TO SHOW OFF AND TOOK HIM TO MANHATTAN TO TIMES SQUARE WITH ALL THE BRIGHT LIGHTS AND TALL BUILDINGS AND MASS PEOPLE AND SUBWAYS AND HE LOVES EVERYTHING...WE MUST OF TOOK PICTURES EVERY TEN STEPS! HE IS SENDING ALL THE PICS TO HIS FAMILY IN GHANA TO LET THEM SEE AMERICA TOO LOL... HE CAN'T WAIT FOR WINTER TIME HE SAYS, HE SAYS THAT OUR SUMMER HEAT IS HOTTER THEN GHANA! GO FIGURE!

WE ARE NOW IN AOS STAGE...WILL GET MARRIED SOON AND JUST FEEL SO BLESSED. I TOOK HIM TO MY CHURCH AND HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF TO MY CHURCH AND HE STARTED TEARING IN THE EYES BECAUSE IT WAS SOOOO CLOSE AND HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO STAND AT THE PODIUM WITH ME IN AMERICA PRAISING GOD FOR HIS MERCY. WE TOLD EVERYBODY OUR STORY AND THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING "GOD IS GOOD"

NYC summers are hotter than KTM summers too - Govi was complaining all the time how hot it was when I last visited KTM and I was comfortable even without a fan or AC, thinking he was really going to suffer during his first NYC heat wave...

Great news! Thanks for the update! Now, he can roam around the subways. Best way to learn your way is to get lost, they say. Bassi is nervous about getting lost. He's convinced that it's so much bigger than Accra here. I live in a pretty small city. So, I'm surprised. But I think everything is so new and so different, that it probably does look that way to him for now.

Kobby says the same thing.... I concur. In Ghana the nights and mornings are much cooler. I think because the sun sets before 5pm it allows Ghana to cool off, while in NYC the sun is just setting around 8pm or so in the summers.

MY FIANCE HAS ROAMED NYC BY HIMSELF FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS TO HANDLE THINGS WHILE I AM AT WORK AND NOW HE THINKS HE IS A PRO... HE HATES WHEN I REPEAT SUBWAY DIRECTIONS TO HIM...HE SAYS "I'LL FIND IT MYSELF" HE THINKS HE HAS IT ALL MAPPED OUT. I AM JUST WAITING TILL HE GETS ON THE WRONG TRAIN, THEN HE WILL SEE LOL... HE DOESN'T WANT TO FEEL DEPENDED ON ME.

He will never tell u he got it wrong.... He will just come back hourrrrrs later and say he was just looking around.

And you may have to intervine now... he is saying I should of told him to request his immunization report so he can have it with him now for the AOS and now we have to go through yet another grueling process! WHy can't things just be a little normal when it comes to K&A. Why do we have to go through everything in a difficult way.
