Intially we were told that our RENIEC mistake would take us 2-3 weeks to clear up. Here is our status:
Friday 7/4 : Mother In-Law obtain new marriage certificate in Arequipa & DHL to wife in Lima
Saturday 7/5 : Wife receive DHL & waiting for RENIEC to open Monday 7/7
Monday 7/7 : REINEC endorsement available 3 hours after submittal (AMAZING!) & DHL to Embassy
Called Embassy, verfied information - (3 Days to Process & Return)
NOW WE WAIT!!!!!!
We are hoping the information from the embassy is correct and she will receive her passport with visa back by Monday, so she can fly to the USA on Tuesday. That is our plan, now pray with us!!!!!

Just got off the phone with the Embassy and confirmed that they received our DHL..YES!!!!!!!!!
Now the original Consular Officer has to review it and it could be back out to us as early as tomorrow!!!
