Our ds230 packet was lacking my 2pcs passport size picture. My husband called NVC and they need my picture to be sent to them.huhuhuhu... i never read it in the insrtuction. but when i was reading the PM from Noel and tintin they told me about the picture. maybe i was just so excited and never notice that one.i feel so disappointed now.i was expecting to have the good news. tomorrow il send the picture thru fedex to my husband so on friday he can get it.pls pray for me..........

Hi there marj, i'm so sorry to hear this. Anyways, send it ASAP and please don't forget to write ur mnlcase#, name & birth date at the back of the pictures. Use DHL P1,158.00 instead of Fedex it is cheaper than Fedex P1,530.00 same process 2-3 business working days. Cheer up! You're almost there 1 week of additional waiting is nothing compare to others that until now still waiting for approval/s. Don't feel upset instead keep smilin

We are in the same boat i guessed..we got an RFE to for not submitting my 2 photos...thats our reason too ksi wla sa checklist ng NVC..though if u willread thoroughly meron nga at kailangan ...anyways..lets just hope it wouldnt take longer...Everything has a reason..So lets just hope for the best...Goodluck to us...Stay positive...We can make it...

Don't be too hard on yourself - the photos for NVC are new this year. I see you only started dealing with NVC in March/April. It is possible you read the instructions before they had actually put the photo requirements on there (like in February). It was discussed here at VJ as people were getting RFE's for them - but the website instructions hadn't even been updated yet:

Marieford - they want two U.S. passport size photos, although you can take them yourself (and they won't care if they are taken on film or with a digital camera) you will have to meet U.S. passport photo specifications.

But to make things quicker. You can take a digital picture with a white background. And follow how the instructions on how the face is supposed to look. Then e-mail the picture to your husband, then he can take that picture to any camara place and have the passport photos printed. This should be faster and cheaper than sending the photos fed ex.

I have a suggestion,

Why not take the picture in Phillipines and just scan them to your husband, he can take the 2x2 print outs at any photo stores in US, doesn't cost much either and saves time too, and he can write in your case number and other specifics at the back side of the photograph.

We don't get the letter from NVC yet about the RFE. but my husband called NVC today and he found out the they are requiring the 2pcs passport size picture of me. that was lacking in the ds230 packet we sent to them. NVC said they mail the RFE letter JUNE 3,2008
