I SENT MY DS230 AND AOS LAST JUNE 27, AND IT WAS RECEIVED JULY 3,2008 AND ITS STILL ON REVIEW... ANYONE KNOWS HOW LONG DOES IT TAKES BEFORE THEY APPROVED IT? THANKS

I sent mine june 23 and was on there system june 27. we called NVC last weel of june and said they will send us the letter after 6 days. we are still waiting for the letter from them.just keep us posted.

as far as i remember,i sent in my DS-230 around 3rd week of April and it was completed and reviewed May 17..then NVC sent my appointment letter on the 27th of May..i didnt get the June interview coz it was full so,i got in July 30th...

Mine was sent on June 19, was received on 24 and completed on 30

Mine was sent June 12, NVC received June 13, entered in the system June 16 and on the 19th Case completed.

hello there guys,
first of all i send my ds230 ahead of AOS on june 27,2008 and the AOS july 1, 2008. received july 3, 2008 I called NVC and the operator said that i filed up the wrong form and which is I got from www.uscis.gov for the I-864... she said i have to go to www.travel.gov/visa/immgrants/info_1335.. to get the I-864... but i believe there both the same thing... i told her if i missing something or what. bec the automated system sayz its missing something so i had to talk to the operator. when she told me that. I told her its the same I-864 bec I-1864 doesnt have any barcode beside the barcode from the online payment.... i told her if i can send it again and redo it again. like photocopy's of financial documents.... she said i have to fill up the I-864 again. and i told her i want to talk to the supervisor. she put me on hold after 5min. she talked to me again and said. that the AOS its still in review and the AOS recieved after DS230 so i dont know.. i think i have to call them again on friday make sure what going on. but i believe i didnt make any mistake by getting the I-864 from uscis.gov website did I? please advise me thank you so much and goodluck to everyone =)

NVC entered my DS-230 into the system on June 30th (just 3 days after they received it). My case was completed on July 7th.

Give more information, do you need a co-sponsor, which I-864 did you use, etc. There are a few different things that are involved in getting an answer.

When I tried getting it from the travel.gov site, it sent me to the USCIS site. Are you sure it was the I-864 and not the I-864A or I-864EZ? Also, did you have a co-sponsor?
It could well be that you sent them in in a different order and they are trying to figure things out. I would give it a couple of days.

Did you put any of the Co-sponsors income on your I-864 ? If not then 2 I-864 should be ok and perhaps they are just confused, if you did then they might think you needed to fill out the I-864A because you are putting household income on what should be 2 stand alone I 864. This is just my understanding of it.

000 we both filed up 1-864 and i didnt put her income to my I-1864 form.. my joint sposor filed up I-1864 her self and she put her all income seperately to mine.... she used I-864 same as mine bec we both dont l ive in the same house hold. =(

From my understanding of it you did the right thing, they might not have your I 864 in their sytem yet. I got a rfe message this morning from the phone line but it was a RFE for my ds 230, which i had sent on July 1st and it arrived there on July 2nd but they had not put it in their system until yesterday. I sent my I 864 the same day you sent your DS 230, and I sent my DS-230 the same day you sent your AOS, their system did not see my DS 230 until yesterday so after they completed my AOS they sent out a RFE for the DS 230, could be the same thing for your AOS.

i just called an hr. ago. and it sayz financial information missing. and it NVC will send me a letter and wait 6 to 8 weeks...i talked to the operator and ask what im missing.... and she told me i filed up the 1-864 form wrong bec i have to get it to www.travel.gov website... but does it make any differents if i got the form from www.usics.gov? its the same right? please advise me if i did it wrong...... when she put me on hold. and she reviewed it she said they need more time to review it i guess bec the ds230 recieve first than my AOS? thanks u guys ty for the help godbless

because they havent done the data entr on it yet, its still in the mail room I think, did you overnight it or send it regular mail?

Even though it was received on July 3rd (signed for) you have to take into account that the 4th was a holiday and nothing was done with that mail until the 7th or 8th, its there but no one has put it in the system yet, and the forms are the same no matter which website you get them from. Dont worry just keep checking every day with the AVR system and you will see they have it in there soon. Good luck to you !!! Ill pray for you

000 WHAT ABOUT THE NVC SAYZ THAT THEY WILL SEND ME A LETTER REGARDING THAT? THEY MIGHT THINK THAT I DIDNT SENT THE AOS YET? I GUESS

Said the same thing for my DS-230 , the letter is to notify you of what it is they are missing, in your case it is the I 864 that has yet to be entered into the system, nothing to worry about just yet. Their system didnt show my DS-230 that arrived there on the 2nd of July as of yesterday when they completed my AOS so they sent out a letter saying they needed it, but when I called they told me they had it and it was entered on the 7th ( the same day that the RFE was sent out) so even though on the 7th they entered it in the system , at the same time the system didnt acknowledge that it was there yet even though the NVC operater could see it.

OIC SO WE HAVE THE SAME THING 000 BUT FOR YOUR DS230 BUT MINE IS AOS HEHEHEH I SENT MY AOS AFTER THE DS230.... MY DS230 WAS RECIVED FIRST 3 DAYS AHEAD OF MY AOS... SO I THINK THAT WAS IT... HEHEHEHEH THANKS... DOES URS SAYS ITS MISSING AND WILL NOTIFY YOU BY MAIL? ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU SO MUCH

Yep, said they will mail me notice as to what was was found missing. I hope both of us have our case completed this week!!!!!!!!!! My AOS took no time at all to complete so if they have completed your DS 230 you should be done this week

And if there is an RFE, the letter only takes about 4 days to arrive from the NVC. My RFE for my I-864EZ got to me pretty fast.

Hello! did you just said that you sent your DS-230 ahead of AOS?what i understand with that is,AOS comes first before DS-230..DS-230 will be the last thing you have to send NVC before they will complete your case.My husband told me that when you sent it wrong froms that NVC didnt ask,it will just cost delay.why did you sent in first you DS-230?is that what they tell you to do?I hope i didnt misunderstood what you said

u understood it right. due of ds230 coming from the philippines. my husband decided to send it ahead of time. opportunitly the ds230 got lucky to be there in NVC before the AOS... =)

Oh I see...Yah,if the AOS just comes first then you wouldnt be having worries now What we did was wait till we get a go signal from NVC on what to do next coz my husband doesnt want to have complications..they sent me DS-3032 first then sent it back to them then they sent my husband a bill that he has to pay for the AOS then after he paid it,they sent him a mail telling him that he needs to send NVC the AOS then after it gets in their system and reviewed,they sent him a mail telling him for me to get my DS-230 Part 1&2....that was the last thing we did at the NVC...he sent MY DS-230 around 3rd week of April then case complete&reviewed May 17 or 20 ( i forgot ) then we sent Packet May 27..My Interview will be July 30..

My husband wait for the bill before he paid it..he paid it through money order...he didnt tell me paying it online,i dont remember..hehehe..he didnt paid both at the same time.after NVC sent him the bill to pay the AOS,then that's only what he paid..then after that NVC sent bill for DS-230 that's also when he paid it..that's how he did on our petitions..hehehe

nothing really i just want to have a hart besides my name hahahahahah .... oic... u can now pay online the aos and ds230 much easier and faster. but u have to use ur savings or checking account. u have to get ur IIN then u can pay online. but usually customer service didnt allow to do that bec they always says its not open to the public yet. so not really sure why not. i bet they will be backlog if everybody's pay online. they might need more employee to handle all the case. bec its much easier and faster. If you pay online atleast u will save 2 weeks or a month if u stick with the online payment... thats what i think...
