Try sending NVC a email. Include your case number and anems and birthdates for the petitioner and beneciary.

You can also try to contact the consulate. A k-1 usually moves through NVC in about a week. The Consuilate may have already given you an interview date and the packet may have gotten lost in the mail. Casa usually schedules interviews pretty quick o you do not want to miss the interview!

NVC will assign a different case number than the one you have from USCIS, so in the email to the consulate besure to include enough information so they know which case.

Hi... Several of us are in the same boat as you are. See this post:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=136677

My question is that if NVC has processed our cases (fingers crossed) then the NVC should have a record of my case. So far, all I heard from the NVC was "We have no record of your case. Either you have entered a wrong case number or we have not received your case yet."

So my conculsion is that the NVC has not received my case. I hope I am wrong ( headbonk.gif whistling.gif), of course.

I think this is the problem with the automated system it doesn't track K-1 visas. Try talking to an operator to see if the NVC has received your case.

hello rachbel i have question for you...did you get an e mail from nvc stating this???

Good day,

Your inquiry indicates that the approved petition has been forwarded to
the National Visa Center (NVC) for processing. The NVC has not yet
received this petition from CIS (Citizenship and Immigration Services).

...im happy to got that e mail from nvc....at least i know that my case is on its way to nvc....eventhough i know we dont have assinged case number yet....and this e mail is diffrent from what i got from nvc for the fast few weeks, and they dont even tell me here that i will contack uscis for the status of our application....
your answer will be appreciated...Goodluck girl.......im with you..
