Dear all,

I keep reading about people knowing that their files/applications have been touched. My question is, everytime I log into the system to check if there has been a update... it doesn't show any date or activity. How can I check when my application was touched, if at all smile.gif

Thanks

Hi Frali

When the date changes that is a touch, which means it has been moved or worked on.

The way you know it's been touched is when the date changes. My date didn't change for 142 days until I got my NOA2. I see you're going for the CR1 so it may be different, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it probably is the same way. Good luck to you!!!

Can I ask why did you guys apply in USA compared to DCF?

Which one is better?

Thanks all.

The reason we did a K1 is that we did not want to be seperated after marraige, with the K1 the separation is before.

I can't seem to find the website so that I can log on. I'd like to see if my case was "touched"!

brnidokiegurl
is your case registered here

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

if not register, then you can check but dont put to much stock in touches, some get completely thru and approved and never show a touch

Are you doing DCF? You won't be able to track your petition online if that's the case.

The online status is for those who filed with the USCIS service centers in America and "touches" are the changes in the last updated date.
