After the medical does St Lukes hold the applicants passport and submit it to the embassy or it gets returned to the applicant?

They keep it

St. Luke's will not give it back to you. They will be the one who forwards it to USEM along with your medical results. USEM will send your passport to you together with your visa/yellow envelope week/s after you are approved.

St. Luke's will give you your X-ray film and your vaccination record on the second day of your medical. Good luck on your medical! May God keeps you healthy all the time.

After the two days medical and there is no problem about your result...you will get your x-ray film and vaccination sheet form and then they will keep your passport and submit it to the Embassy..

Just make sure ..get a photocopy for your reference ..back and forth of your passport..
