I am just wondering when is the right time to pay for documents verification?I have my MNL case number but still i didnt call for appointment yet coz i still dont have a passport and other documents that i needed to bring for my interview...

Since you already have your case number you can already pay your document verification. Just follow the instructions on how to do it. It should be on Sheriff Uling's guide.

I have not written it explicitly into the guide, but I recommend waiting until the USE has the hardcopy case files from the NVC. Then, the beneficiary is free to pay for the document verification fee (in addition to the visa application fee) anytime upto a month before the interview, which only applies to the document verification fee.

Our case has been approved (despite the conflict about my name) and i got the letter from us embassy that is stating that i am eligible to call for an appointment! Can i correct my name at the same time as i pay for the document verification?or shall i call the us embassy first to request for correction of my name before i pay for the document verification?please let me know...thanks...

Maybe you an call the USEM first then pay the document verification fee. Mind you, DV can delay your visa. I think a month prior to the interview date is the best time to pay it and then follow up with Delbros after you paid for DV.

After you have a case number. The sooner you pay d.v. you can begin the all important follow ups!
A month after paying, Delbros had not notified the embassy of our payment. The embassy had our case hard copy for two weeks, and still had not started the d.v. proscess!!!
Lorrain told me that they were aware that the d.v. proscess was not working well. They will probably add a band aid approach. This is a large part of what is wrong with this whole system!!
Instead of replacing what is not working, they will just add another step. Which only adds to the original problem, another problem.

since you have your MNL case number already you can now pay for your doc verification.. it is said that they need 3-4 weeks before it will reach the USEM. so to be on the safe side.. pay it now and then you can text delbros for confirmation.. dont forget to faxed the verified payment to metrobank to delbros and USEM as soon as possible..
