well i was checking the processing time . and i was checking the Vermont service center dates (I-129F / K1 visa) . and i found out that they are still working on applications of Dec 18 2007.
i called the Vermont service center to make sure and they told me that they are still working on applications of Dec 18 2007 . i asked them if i will file this month how long it will take to get approved ? they told me about six months .
then i found out that people who filed for the visa in January or in February or in March of this year they already got their NOA2 and they even have interview dates .
so i wonder how comes ??!!!!!!

All the process is a mess by itself.

Let me explain something to you, they say they are processing Dec 2007 because they have at least one case of Dec 2007, it is the rule they apply to the process.

I am waiting on the line, I belong to Dec 2007 and I haven´t gotten approval yet and other applicants from Jan to June 08 got approved. USCIS process is crazy.

I will recomend you to fill out your docs and you will be closer to your love. Sometimes the waiting is long. Good Luck to both of you.

its case to case basis, i saw some VSC filers here who got approved in less than 2 months.some took 6 months
but prepare yourself for this roller coaster journey,VSC approves faster than CSC,im a CSC filer and it took us nearly 8 months before we got the approval.

Not really... VSC used to, but now on average, CSC is NOW much faster... However, it doesn't matter as the service center you send to depends on where you live. It's all on luck. I myself am still waiting for VSC since December 2007.
