When I first moved here, there was a video cam set up outside the Capitol Theatre restoration project on the main street of Chatham, Ontario. I used to click on the cam and just watch the traffic go by. They have since removed the cam and I haven't succeeded in finding another live view camera set up anywhere, but I go and read the newspapers regularly (a daily, a weekly and an online weekly) as well as check out the radio station and upcoming events through the official website:

http://www.kingstonkiosk.com/directory.php...;categoryId=225 If you look at the far right hand edge of the far right corner of the cupola on City Hall you will see an older building front - I used to live in that complex - my actual apartment is hidden behind the cupola but the view from my living room windows was of City Hall and some of the farmer's market behind, and the view from the bedroom window (overlooking a few buildings) was of the Kingston waterfront and Lake Ontario. My apartment was originally built as the Bank of Upper Canada in 1828 - it had 6 ft thick limestone walls and I loved it! It has a long time since been converted to a restaurant and bakery - what was my apartment is now the pastry kitchen for the restaurant. Still, I love to look at the webcam.
I still read all of the local newspapers as well:-).
