it might be a silly question, but when it comes to immigration forms you wouldnt want to mess it up. since i came to US 4 years ago, i've never had a job. I was too busy being pregnant and having kids biggrin.gif. so, what do i write in the part 6 B, where it asks about jobs and schools? do i say homemaker/stay-at-home mom/unemployed? or leave it blank?

They say not to leave any blanks. If you leave it blank, they'll wonder why, and probably issue an RFE to ask for an explanation. Don't do that.

Just use whatever language seems apprpriate to explain it truthfully and don't mislead. "Stay-at-home mom" is ok.

Your naturalization doesn't depend on employment, so there's nothing to worry about. This isn't a job resume where you might want to use flowery language to make yourself look a little more employable.

I looked at that as being a trick question to learn about my wife's employment when she first arrived here until well after she received her EAD and don't have to tell you how fast the USCIS is on processing applications. So during that period of time since they were asking about employment, simply typed in, "unemployed". And that she was because it was illegal for her to get employment during that period of time.

So if you were Unemployed, simply type that in.
