My check was cashed :-) You were right...it does take approximately 10 days for them to cash it. It has "Vermont Service Center" stamped in the back so I am assuming the file is already in Vermont. Texas had received the documents on June 23 and the check was cashed July 2.

Probably it took more time due to the transfer. They sent a memo about only CSC and VSC are taking care of I-751 applications and encouraging people to send those files directly to them to avoid delays...which anyway...the "delay" is on 12-13 months of waiting...duh.

Keep your eyes open for the biometrics appointment letter. That will have your new case file number on it. The number on your NOA1 means nothing.

Go to www.uscis.gov, look for a link to online case status, enter the number there, or alternatively create an account and input the case number as part of your portfolio
