Hello to everyone

I just got my visa today and i was worried about the brown envelope. It is written there "do not open". The brown envelope is tore at the upper left. Just want to ask if it is ok to get my passport in the plastic envelope? thanks in advance

I just got my visa today too. I didn't open the whole plastic bag. I open it just enough to get my passport.

yes, you can open the plastic envelope to get your passport out. but, DO NOT open the brown envelope w/ 1 corner missing. the brown envelope is only to be opened by a US immigration officer when you arrive in the US.

thanks for the replies.. the brown envelope is open at the upper side of it. i can see my picture. i received it as that. i didnt open it. is it okay is the upper side of the brown envelope is opened when i received it. The upper side is cut. I am really worried. Does anyone have the same experience?

don't worry. yes its ok. the brown envelope is suppose to have 1 corner missing. everyone's brown envelope is opened on that corner.
so stop worrying & get back to the celebration!

you can use a cutter to create just enough slit sa plastic cover to get your passport.
