Hey guys,

My biometrics appointment for my lifting of conditions on my 2 yr GC was a few weeks ago, and now I guess it's time to sit and wait, and be patient.

However, it would be nice to know about how long other applicants, going through the California service center, and having to submit their applications with a divorced status, took for their applications to be approved.

I would normally look at the timeline section but it doesn't show applicants who have been divorced and are filing on their own, so can these successful applicants please let me know how long they had to wait?

regards

Paul

I'd say 2-3 months - CSC are pretty quick these days.

Just don't tell them you support Hamas and Hezbollah whistling.gif

Gabrielarad,

If I am reading this right, your biometrics were done on the 12th of July 2007, and you only got the transfer to CSC notice on the 9th of April 2008, 9 MONTHS LATER???!!! is that correct?

I got my transfer notice a week after my biometrics!

Can any other DIVORCED applicants give me their timeline please,

thanks is advance

Yes, Paul
I had my biometric on July 12, 2007 and the transfer notice on April 9th, 2008. I DO believe for divorced applicants they move the case much slower. Yes, I have the same request, could any other divorced applicants give us their imput and timelines?
Thank you

MOONINLOVE, first of all CONGRATULATIONS !!! So, you filed on your own, you are divorced. How long after you received the Temporary Green Card did you get the divorce? Were you called for an interview after you sent the I751 or not?

Interviews are scheduled for some divorced applicants for a number of reasons, the most popular beinf, if the prima facie evidence appears scant. Rather than ask questions of others whose cases might be quite different from yours, do you think you provided sufficient evidence? Are there any peculiarities in your case that we should be aware of?

Thank you. Actually months before filing the I-751 was when the divorce was filed. I was not called for an interview but received an RFE. My case is different from yours in some areas maybe so best of luck to you. Like diadie had said, have you provided enough evidence? If you did then you'll be fine.

Yes I did provided with all the evidence I had, my marriage was 1000% for real and I was devastated to find out that my husband is bysexual, and seeking for relationships with other men on the Internet.

I'm on a year marriage with conditional CG (entered as K-1). Now our relationship isn't so good and we're seperating and probably will get a divorce based on the reason that we're not getting along. I'm very worry about me filing waiver and removing conditional CG alone. Is it too weak reason to get divorce? Our marriage was in good faith and I have some proofs from when we were together for a year(joint account, joint tax return07, utility bills, pictures, cable bills)
Please suggest, thank you so much.
