I am looking over the guides and I know if you dont meet the affidavit of support requirements, you can get a co-sponsor with marriage based immigration. Looking at the K-1 I didn't see that option avaliable and was wondering if we didn't meet the support req. what choice does one have?

I'm trying to decide which is best for me to file and I will need a sponsor as I won't meet the affidavit of support req. This invloves Cairo if anyone has experience filing a K-1 and did have a co-sponsor. I read on another post from Mar/08 that Cairo Embassy didn't approve a K-1 because they didn't allow co-sponsors with a K-1, is this true?
