As soon as we have my computer and things set up, I'll be back to post a review. Just wanted to let folks know that when I was in speaking with the border guards, they stamped my I-94 Employment Unauthorized. Is that normal?

Glad you made it through, sorry i cant help much with that although i dont remember reading anything about anyone getting that. Im going to check out ours right now.

They actually stamped an "unauthorized" on your passport's attached I-94? I think mine got stamped as unauthorized for the portion of the card that they kept, but the three officers and I did have an exchange about why JFK used to give out stamps but not other places. I wasn't supposed to get a stamp anyway, so no biggie. It just means getting a bit more creative in keeping myself sane.

Just send them a copy of this document with Section C highlighted. EI is pretty used to K-1 immigrants applying anyway.

Mine from Port Huron 6/16/08 says "employment authorized". Weird that they'd even have a stamp that says UNauthorized. Sounds like the Keystone cops have settled into their retirement at the Sault St. Marie border
