Me and my fiancee have been browisng this forum for a while and decided to sign up as we're beginning our official process soon. It's been an incredible help to us and we decided not to hire a lawyer after all.
Little background information... I met my US fiancee on a forum in 2003 (I was just 15/16 at the time).. we met in Boston in 2005 and we've visited each other 8 times since then. We haven't been able to start the K1 visa process before now because I'm still in university and I also wanted to make sure of my decision seeing as I was very young. So it's been FIVE AND A HALF YEARS and we've been waiting and waiting for our opportunity to apply. We're finally sending off our package to Vermont this week. That gives me a year to graduate and have my visa in hand.
