hi everyone!

So today i had an interview in a store and they said they cannot hire me and they have to verify if my documentation is good and enough to work, they asked me for an I-20!

of course i entered the US with a K-1, i flew to JFK, i got the EAD stamp, we got married, i have a SSN, a bank account, i'm getting the MD driving license... but the I-20 it's new to me!!

From what i saw on internet it's for students! F-1 and J-1 visa students who come in here to study and work temporary...

anyone had the same problem? anyway they told me they will call me back to let me know if they can proceed and will schedule another interview with me...

Please let me know!

Thank you! smile.gif

Just tell them that you have the required documents to complete the I-9 upon being hired. They can't ask for anything above and beyond that.
