Hey guys, if anyone has insight into this question then please answer because it is very important to me. I just called the USCIS and the woman there told me she could put in an "out of processing time" service request for my EAD which has been pending for 98 days. She informed me that what they do with the service request is only based on the "mood" of the people who receive it at the National Benefits Center. She said with the service request I would be required to hear something within 45 days which is RIDICULOUS if it was that long, but also possibly within a couple of days. I asked her "if they get the service request and see my case number will they stop processing my application until they see the service request?" She said "its possible, I don't know"
Has anyone had any experience with a service request or expedite actually making your application take longer or hurting in any way?
Please answer soon because i'm thinking about calling back and asking them to do it unless you guys say it might be a bad idea.
Thanks!!!!
