Well on Friday I just found out that my interview is going to be on August 08/2008 at 8:30a.m. I haven't gotten my appointment letter as of yet but I was wondering if I should book my appointment for my medical examination before hand. Also, If I want to find out when will i receive my letter would I need to contact NVC or the US consulate in montreal by email? Does anyone know what the email address is for the US consulate in montreal when I can email and ask about my appointment letter? Does anyone know.

You do not need to ask for your interview letter (packet 4), although if you did not get it yet....do email them.
I have had great luck with Operator Numbers 5 and 6. biggrin.gif

You need to have your medical results for your interview.
Hurry!

Hi,

If you have any questions about your interview letter or interview scheduling you will need to call NVC. Montreal is 'appointment' processing for IR1/CR1 visas, which means NVC is given a number of interview slots to fill each month (by the consulate) and once your interview is scheduled you will receive an interview letter from NVC.

If you contact the embassy in Montreal directly, they will just refer you back to NVC.

Generally you will receive the interview letter within a month of them scheduling your interview.

Some panel physicians will let you have your medical without the letter, some will not, best to call the pp in your area and ask them directly.

Good luck good.gif

If you are in the Montreal area, and having your medical there, the Medisys clinic will do the medical based on the front page you received with Packet 3. I didn't receive my interview letter until a week before the interview, and since it takes 3 days for the medical results to come through, you'd be well-served to book your medical very, very soon!

Good luck :-)

There is no 'packet 3' with an IR1/CR1 visa though.

You send the DS-230 package to NVC, and hopefully use the envelope they provided.

Address of NVC:

32 Rochester Avenue
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909
