So...my fiance sent out packet 3 on June 7th....he gave me the LND# and I plan on calling the Dept. of State tomorrow morning to see what is going on, just wondering if the LND# is all I need. We are kinda planning on him coming to stay on Oct. 1st and then marrying the end of Dec. I don't want to start wedding plans without knowing when the interview will be but I assume it's coming soon?!?! Wish us luck!

Yes, all they ever asked me is the LND XXXXXX and confirmation of name of beneficiary

They can also use the petitioner's SSN to look up the status of the case, Shan tells me. That's how she looked it up the first time, as she didn't have the LND number to hand.
