tasha, yea i cant believe hes 2 months old...hes soo funny...HES SOOO SERIOUS...always just looking around taking everything in...he has smiled 2 times, count it. TWICE and thats it...nothing i do will make him smile...just a very serious dramatic baby i have...hopefully within the next week or two he will start really smiling, cuz my nephew who is 6 weeks older than zaid will smile over anything and even already cracks up laughing..IM JEALOUS...

tomorrow he has his shots, i really dont know what to expect, i wnder if i can talk my sis in to going with me...I dont think i can do it alone...poor baby has no idea whats coming , its gonna break my heart...

im off work now til wednesday at noon. THANK GOD...6 days straight kicked my butt

Lets get something straight. I never said that nor agreed to it. Another thing is, I should not have to be called names because I post there, nor should I have to be stalked to death when I come to VJ.

I know!! That would be awesome...Zain is just as serious as Zaid! So they would make for a quiet date! LOl Nour loves to smile and Zain just has not mastered it yet. Only a few times and mostly before passing out to sleep! LOL I am hoping for smiles and giggles soon too!!!

I just wanted to put this out there to alert and get alerted - my little cousin has been diagnosed with autism and the private study on him and other babies show an actual lead to getting shots so early in baby years. My aunt said she wished she had waited a little longer for him to develop to get the shots. Anyone else know about this ?

I read about autism in one of the magazines at the dr. office (the irony). And came home and researched it. A very dear friend of mine has a daughter that is autistic.

No one will EVER convince me my sons shots didn't make him autistic. I had a happy little boy that was talking and running around and a few weeks after his MMR he just sat there starring off in space, stopped babbling etc. If the thimerosal is not linked to autsim, then why have so many of the vaccines have it removed now? The FDA will never say there is a link to thimerosal in vaccines and autsim.....that would cost them millions.

I'll be thinking about ya tommorrow kel. Shot day always sucks. Lexy is going in July for her kindergarten shots. And she is not a happy diva over that idea.

I agree you shouldn't have to be called names or be stalked but AGAIN if you are choosing to post personal info and/or photos then you have to remember its a public board and not everyone is going to be nice about it. This has been an ongoing issue in VJ since in joined in 2006 and I don't see anything changing. Like Jackie said before, several of us have started our own yahoo groups where we could have privicy and more control over posts/fighting. That definitly won't happen on this forum.

We read the thread in question, and noticed that the facts don't support your complaint of being stalked and name-called. No one ever said a word to you in criticism. You're not Muslim and people seem to be more upset with the Muslims, so that wasn't about you. You don't dress like a Muslim, so when someone said women wearing hijab should be more modest, that wasn't about you, and you didn't post any photographs of your man, so the accusation that you set him up so women could see him doesn't apply to you. So, it's more than a little dramatic to say that you were called names and "stalked to death" when no one who complained was really interested in what you were doing. Be advised that hyperbole minimizes credibility. Good night.

It is not our intent to control what other ppl post. Our intent was to let VW publically know that she was being an aggitator and to stop or we'd start reporting her. Eight members pm'd me of what she was doing and all I could do was advise them to ignore her. We all asked her to stop it but she didn't take a respectful request. As the OP of that thread when a member brought up what she was doing in chat it wasn't our intention to go in that direction but since it was out in the open we laid it on the table for her. She persisted and we reported it again and again and then it became stalking and harassment for at least three of us.

Like Kelly said what that person did the her sucked but don't let the fear get you. That thread has brought together many beautiful ppl who are willing to share pix of them and their loved ones and keep the flames alive. It was something of a phenomenon even long time members on VJ expressed. My inbox exploded to 109 message in one day! There is something to be said for what is being expressed in there. Maybe it's the title a few you don't like? Maybe it's the idea? But it's a natural healthy expression of the love we have for someone.

No one is trying to control thing JP. If you interpret that then I am sorry. We just repeatly and respectfully requested that VW's stop and she didn't. Maybe you didn't know the history and only got what was in chat. I don't know. But what I said was an interpretation what 8 ppl had expressed to me and 2 advisors in the chat. Ppl may twist the words but don't twist the meaning.

VW's comments may have started in good intent to her "misguided sisters", but after rejection to her not once but several times by the same ppl it evolved to something else.

Anyways it seems it's all blowing over and as someone said, "Typical MENA stuff."
