OK, seriously, I have to share this with someone-- a guy just walked in and asked me where the liquor store is. I said it's a dry county and they will either need to drive out of state or down one county. I said it's about 20 miles either way. And he said, "so... that would take me about an hour to walk, right?" I just looked at him and said, "Do you really believe it will take you one hour to walk 20 miles?" He did not get it even when it was repeated back to him. How do some people survive on a daily basis? How do they not just spontaneously die?

In HAC we're not posting naked males or even semi-nude males. We don't appriciate the implication with the comments in your first siggy pix that our Husbands are using us for green cards and they're just slabs of beef. You're way overstepping here with the low blows. The thread was started in fun as a joke and we didn't know it would become so popular.

We have justification for asking you to stfu of HAC. So far you have called us a secular hoard, hedonist, telling us we need to learn a lesson, and are our personal fun police popping up everywhere we post. If that's not internet stalking and harassment then the Administration Board on VJ is very tolerant. We have been kind and polite and repeatedly asked and warned you to please stop.

We aren't going into "The Muslim Only Chat" thread and popping in to tell you what you think and believe is bad and wrong and mocking you all. What you are doing isn't even mean teasing its crossed that as some sort of goal of yours to stop or lock our thread because it doesn't agree with what you know. If you didn't want to join the club then you are only in there to cause trouble for us all and there is about 50 of us there were having fun before all this.

The astonishing thing to me is everything you're accusing us of is exactally what you are guilty of doing. It's like some fun house mirror reflection. Somehow something fun became twisted into a threat towards your ego because we don't believe what you believe comprimising your expert authority. Really who gives a flip!?

We in the HAC (Christians/Muslims/Agnotstics/Atheists) just want to have fun without controversy, make fun photos online, and not be threatened by whoever you cry out to speak up about it, or be threatened in PM's by sending some nasty blog sphere lady who started a controversy on here over a year ago.

it was very intenseful watching these guys chop my tree down, i wish i was at work, it was very scary seeing these branches come flying down and just missing my home, pool and the electrical wiring. One piece landed and we all felt the vibration in the home. Im glad it's done and over with! Now my backyard is just a complete mess, it will take days to get it back looking good. Any volunteers???

ANYWAYS...Zaid is 2 months old today, and the big boy slept thru the night last night...Im getting ready for work, and thank god, after today i have a few days off..Im pooped! we had a bbq yesterday at my brothers house, took many pics of zaid and his two cousins, jeremy and jack....the 3 of them are only a few weeks apart, so its funny to see how different they are, yet soo close in age! will post pics soon!!

I'm guessing that being a good muslim is being a good example to those around you. If this is your example of being a good muslim, I don't want any part of it. Is it a muslim duty to harass and mock those around you? There are ways to make your point if that is what you feel you need to do but this isn't it. There is something much more going on here.

Happy Sunday everybody! I can't believe the baby is already two months old Kelly!!! Malek is 4 months old today and he is really maturing and almost sitting up. Not much to do today but clean a little on the house. Hubby is working with dad today so its a great day to get things done!

Happy Sunday! I was up waaaaay too late last nite. Today, we plan to go see some fellow Moroccans play league soccer so that hubby can meet some new people. I'll have to lower my gaze coz a lot of those guys don't wear shirts in the heat, but a man's 'awra is between his navel and his knees, so nothing haram about that.

we were thinking about going swimming but the air here in central California is so bad from the wildfires that the local news is advising people to stay indoors and keep your pets indoors. yesterday morning when we got up it looked like fog outside from the smoke, its a little better today but still, yikes! so I guess we will find some indoor activities to keep us busy today

I'm not an easy push over for baby pics, but I so enjoy that smile on princess's face. And the way Zaid looks so laid back and relaxed makes me smile every time I see him.

Yessssssss I stayed at work off the clock cause it was so hot and had A/C and waited for the sun to go down so I can enjoy being not so hot... we're not used to this weather. Not sure what I am going to do today off day you know? The kids should get out but the beach I like to take them too isn't open yet why???? cause they don't open until after the 4th.... I believe that is when our summer ends lol

wow a closed beach?
here in oregon the beach is open almost always even when it snowed this year lol.........its already getting up there and starting to get almost uncomfortable and its soooo early .......... we are not settiing the pool up for us until after we return from calf cuz it will be GREEN if we do nobody to take care of it lol anyways sounds to me like a great day to pack a picnic and go to a river that is not too deep and just enjoy and try to stay as comfortable as possible lol

It's called Jetty Island.. you take a free ferry over to this all beach island.. it's really nice the water is really shallow for a great distance. Perfect for kids but doesn't open until than... I so miss the Oregon beaches....... yes we have a lake here but i really dont' like going there cause of all the teens just run over the little ones. anyway it is we'll allhave to enjoy the great NW weather we're having.

Do we really need to have clubs? I think we are all a bit too old for something like.

This has been stated many many times....if you are going to post something personal here then be prepared to deal with the backlash of it. No one in this forum lives in a bubble. If some of you want to post photos of your S.O.'s,great...more power to you. However there are going to be people who don't like it or don't agree with it. My suggestion, if you want to have an exclusive "hot arab club" make a yahoo group and then you can post in private where no one will bother you. Don't expect that to happen here on that thread or any thread.
